The Process

The Idea, the Brainstorming, the Collaboration
We start off with the client. Our team takes in the whole picture, listening to our client's needs, finding out what the goal of the inflatable will be. Sometimes the client will know exactly what they want to see in an inflatable while other time the client just has a concept but needs some guidance. There is a creative "give and take" where through synergy between IDW and the client a wonderful inflatable is born!

Submitting the Quote
After getting a good idea of what the client is expecting, a quote is given. Upon agreement, the next stage of the process begins...

Concept Art
Our design and engineering department gets a hold of the final concept and brings it one step closer to reality. Using state of the art computer imagery, we first draw out 2 dimensional schematics of the inflatable. Here are a few examples of this stage.

Pre-production Drawing
At this point, we try to bring you to the closest thing your inflatable will look like without actually constructing it. We draw your inflatable to scale, put it in realistic renderings, show it to you in 3D rotations, whatever needs to be done to give you the closest feel to the real inflatable. This will ensure we are conveying your idea into an inflatable that suites your needs. Here are some examples of this stage...

Final Approval
With the Concept Art and Pre-production Drawing in hand, we now go to the Final Approval. If the client likes what they see, we move on with the process. If not, then with some fine tuning we ensure we are giving the client exactly what they want. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Production
After the final approval we start with production. If ordering a sealed air POP product, we can send you a pre-production sample as a proof. If ordering a cold air giant, we start fabrication of your inflatable. Attention to detail is critical for IDW. We replicate each inflatable to be identical to the actual product being produced. We use only the finest materials.
1. 7, 9, 15, and 18 Ounce Vinyl coated nylon with ultraviolet inhibitors.
2. Specially Designed Polyester Inflatable Fabric for specific applications.
3. Polyester threads with UV protection.
4. UL and CSA approved blower/ motors and components.

We use a variety of methods to insure the highest quality reproductions:
1. Digital Printing
2. Sublimation Digital Printing of polyester fabrics
3. Airbrushing
4. Applique
5. Silk Screening
